Penerapan Konsep Smart Village Dalam Upaya Pengembangan Kawasan Perdesaan Di Kabupaten Sukabumi

The objectives to be achieved in this study are to determine: 1) Application of the smart village concept in rural area development efforts in Bantargadung Village, Sukabumi Regency. 2) Supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the application of the smart village concept in rural area development efforts in Bantargadung Village, Sukabumi Regency. This study is a qualitative descriptive study. In this study, the researcher used data processing techniques by means of observation, documentation, and interviews.
The results of this study indicate that the application of the Smart Village concept in Bantargadung Village, Sukabumi Regency has shown positive results in improving the quality of life of the community. By utilizing information and communication technology, active community participation, and strong government support, smart villages have succeeded in encouraging local economic growth, increasing access to public services, and strengthening social cohesion. However, this success needs to be maintained and improved through human resource capacity development, technological infrastructure improvement, and continuous program evaluation.
The successful implementation of the Smart Village concept in Bantargadung Village, Sukabumi Regency is the result of strong synergy between good governance, active community participation, and adequate technological support. The important role of the village government in improving human resource and infrastructure capacity, as well as actively involving the community, is the key to success. Close collaboration between various parties is also crucial in realizing a smart, independent, and prosperous village. The implementation of the Smart Village concept in Bantargadung Village, Sukabumi Regency still faces a number of challenges. Limited human resources, especially at the village level, are the main obstacles in running this program optimally. The quality and reach of digital infrastructure that is not evenly distributed also hinders the maximum use of technology. In addition, the readiness of the village as a whole, including the level of digital literacy of the community, is also a determining factor in success.
