Smart Medical Application Design Using Kansei Engineering Approach for Enhancing User Interaction and Patient Satisfaction

This thesis aims to design a Smart Medical application using the Kansei Engineering approach, focusing on user interaction and patient satisfaction at the Bogor City Health Office. In the context of increasingly digital healthcare services, it is crucial to understand the emotional elements that influence user experience when using such applications. Through the Kansei Engineering method, this research identifies user needs and expectations by conducting surveys and in-depth interviews. The data collected are used to develop an intuitive and responsive user interface design, which is expected to enhance patient satisfaction.
The results of the study indicate that attention to emotional elements in application design not only improves usability but also contributes significantly to overall patient satisfaction. This thesis provides valuable insights for healthcare providers and application developers in creating more user-friendly health applications that meet user expectations at the Bogor City Health Office.
